Information Day on MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships Held

An information day dedicated to Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA PF) was organised on 13.05. by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes for researchers interested in applying to this prestigious Horizon Europe funding programme.

The event was organised by Sandra Vidović, Head of Department for Legal and Financial Affairs of Horizon Europe and Mobility of Researchers, as well as National Contact Point for Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and Research Infrastructures in Horizon Europe.

As part of the programme, Dr Tena Prelec and Dr Barbara Frey delivered a presentation on the preparation and successful application of the MSCA project ENVIJUST-WB: Green Transition and Environmental Justice in the European Periphery: Asymmetries and Contestation in the Western Balkans, hosted at the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CSMK), University of Rijeka.

During the presentation, they discussed the development of the project idea, the proposal-writing process, and the collaboration between supervisor and fellow, as well as the key elements of a successful MSCA application. Particular attention was given to the project’s interdisciplinary approach and its focus on the political economy of the green transition and environmental justice in the Western Balkans.

The event also featured Dr Branimir Jovanović from the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies, an ENVIJUST-WB project collaborator, who spoke about the importance of international research cooperation and networking opportunities within European research projects.

The information day brought together researchers and university staff interested in MSCA funding opportunities and provided a platform for exchanging experiences and practical advice related to proposal preparation.
