{"id":4932,"date":"2026-06-01T10:16:22","date_gmt":"2026-06-01T08:16:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/csmk.uniri.hr\/?p=4932"},"modified":"2026-06-01T10:16:23","modified_gmt":"2026-06-01T08:16:23","slug":"first-study-visit-in-the-framework-of-the-project-no-more-divided-societies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/csmk.uniri.hr\/en\/first-study-visit-in-the-framework-of-the-project-no-more-divided-societies\/","title":{"rendered":"First study visit in the framework of the project \u201cNo More Divided Societies\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>No More Divided Societies (NM:S): Strengthening Youth-Led Inter-Ethnic Solidarities<\/strong> is an Erasmus+ project that brings together actors from Croatia, Serbia, and Cyprus who are engaged in overcoming ethnic divisions and fostering inter-ethnic cooperation within their societies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Led by Youth Initiative for Human Rights \u2013 Croatia, the project includes two additional NGO partners\u2014Youth Initiative for Human Rights \u2013 Serbia and Urban Gorillas from Cyprus\u2014as well as one academic partner, the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Rijeka. The project runs from 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Focusing on youth-led grassroots initiatives, the project aims to promote peer learning, knowledge exchange, and cross-border collaboration in the field of inter-ethnic cooperation, particularly in countries burdened by a legacy of political identity-based violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of this project, the first study visit took place from 19 to 24 May in Croatia. Participants from Croatia, Serbia, and Cyprus visited Vukovar, Osijek, Petrinja, and Zagreb, where they toured a number of organizations, institutions, and memorial sites, took part in cultural activities, and met with various stakeholders who contribute in different ways to overcoming national divisions.
