It was organized by the journal <em>Tragovi<\/em> and the Institute of Social Sciences from Belgrade. The conference was attended by 47 authors from 11 countries, among them Dr. Valentina Otma\u010di\u0107, Deputy Head of the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Rijeka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Otma\u010di\u0107, together with her co-authors Prof. Ru\u017eica Jakeli\u0107 of the Faculty of Political Science in Zagreb and Prof. Sini\u0161a Tatalovi\u0107 of the Center for Social Research of SKD <em>Prosvjeta<\/em>, presented the initial findings and conclusions of their new research titled <em>Peace Be with You: Consequences, Lessons, and Interpretations of the Prevention of Wartime Violence in Gorski Kotar in the 1990s<\/em>.
