Prof.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Call for Expressions of Interest for Enrolment in the Microqualification Programme \u201cPublic Policy Analysis\u201d<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies<\/strong> at the <strong>University of Rijeka<\/strong> invites expressions of interest for enrolment in the <strong>Public Policy Analysis<\/strong> microqualification programme \u2014 the only academic programme in the field of public policy in the Republic of Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Duration and Enrolment<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The call for expressions of interest is open from <strong>15 October to 12 November 2025 (until the end of the day)<\/strong>.<br>The programme begins on <strong>29 January 2026<\/strong> and runs until <strong>June 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme lasts <strong>one semester<\/strong> and carries <strong>30 ECTS credits<\/strong>. Upon completion, participants receive an official certificate of completion issued by the <strong>University of Rijeka<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Programme Purpose<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme is intended for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>employees in public administration and local government,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>members of civil society organisations,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>consultants and managers in project management, public procurement, and strategic communication.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>students of YUFE universities network and the University of Rijeka<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of the programme is to equip participants with the skills to <strong>analyse, develop, and implement public policies<\/strong> based on evidence and contemporary methodologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Admission Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must hold a <strong>completed undergraduate or graduate (university or professional) degree<\/strong> in any field, except for students of YUFE universities network and the University of Rijeka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required Documentation<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To express interest, applicants must submit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A completed <strong>online application form<\/strong>: <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/VGG3LqResS8n1Gnr9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/forms.gle\/VGG3LqResS8n1Gnr9<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A copy of their <strong>degree certificate<\/strong> (undergraduate or graduate)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>curriculum vitae (CV)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>motivation letter<\/strong> (up to 500 words) explaining how the programme will contribute to their professional development<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>The number of participants is limited. class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Programme Delivery<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme consists of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>four in-person sessions<\/strong> and <strong>online learning<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>mentoring<\/strong> and <strong>practical application<\/strong> of acquired knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Locations of in-person sessions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University Campus Rijeka (January, March, April 2026)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Moise Palace, Cres (June 2026)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sessions are generally held <strong>from Thursday to Saturday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Tuition Fee<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The regular tuition fee is <strong>EUR 1,100.00<\/strong>,<br>however, a <strong>discount<\/strong> is offered for the <strong>first cohort<\/strong>, reducing the fee to <strong>EUR 700.00<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tuition fee includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>teaching and learning materials,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>lectures by university professors from Croatia and abroad,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>administrative costs and issuance of the completion certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Costs related to <strong>accommodation, travel, and meals<\/strong> during in-person sessions are <strong>not included<\/strong> in the tuition fee.<br><br>Program is free of charge for students of YUFE ECTS)<\/strong><br>Practical work on a real social challenge through policy analysis and development of proposed solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Core Competences (10 ECTS)<\/strong><br>Covers public policy theory, methodology, policy writing, and advocacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sectoral Public Policies (12 ECTS)<\/strong><br>Elective courses based on participants\u2019 interests: security,
