On Wednesday, 14 May, the Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies (IPAZ) of the University of Granada (Spain) organized the presentation of the book Resisting inter-ethnic violence: community approaches to conflict transformation in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina authored by Valentina Otmačić, deputy head of the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies of the University of Rijeka. The book was presented by the author, as well as by the director of IPAZ José Angel Ruiz Jimenez. In addition to the rich exchanges with students and staff of IPAZ on the topics of resistance to violence in the past and in the present, the attendants also discussed potential collaboration between IPAZ from Granada and the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies from Rijeka.
