Programme structure

The programme consists of three modules:

Challenge Module (8 ECTS)
Hands-on work on a real-world societal issue through public policy analysis and the development of a proposed solution.

Core Competencies (10 ECTS)
Covers policy theory, methodology, policy writing, and advocacy techniques.

Sectoral Public Policies (12 ECTS)
Elective courses based on your interests: security, social, educational, health, cultural, anti-corruption, innovation, energy policy, and more.


Admission requirements

  • Enrolment at the University of Rijeka or another YUFE university
    or
  • Completed undergraduate or graduate university degree in any field

How is the programme delivered?

The programme is flexible and internationally oriented. Lectures and workshops are delivered both on-site and online, including sessions by professors from Croatian and international universities (e.g., Glasgow, ELTE).


Recognition and completion

Upon successful completion of the programme and acquisition of 30 ECTS credits, participants receive a certificate of microcredential. This can serve as an upgrade to an existing degree or a step toward further specialisation.
