Representatives of the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies, dr. Marko Kovačić, Assoc. Prof. and dr. Mario Žuliček participated in a consultation meeting and panel discussion in Split, as part of the project “Youth Inclusion – How to move on?”. They were joined by Marin Capan, President of the Governing Board of the Croatian Youth Network, and Sara Sušanj, Executive Director of the Delta Association.

– Through an open discussion, the panel addressed the question of how much young people today are actually involved in social processes and decision-making. They also discussed what should be changed to make their participation better, more systematic and truly influential. Special emphasis was placed on examples of good practice from local communities and the difference between declarative and real inclusion – said Goran Biličić, President of the Info Zona.

The project is financed by the European Union through the Erasmus+ programme. The lead partner is the Info Zona from Split, and the partners are the Association “Delta” from Rijeka, the Association IKS from Petrinja, and the Youth Association Ilok “Volja”.
