The University of Rijeka has been awarded an Erasmus+ accreditation in the field of youth for the implementation of mobility activities focused on study visits, for the period from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027. The Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies will act as the holder of the activities.
The Erasmus+ accreditation is granted by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes, the national agency responsible for the implementation of the Erasmus+ Programme in Croatia, to organisations that demonstrate a high level of quality and development capacity in planning and implementing international activities. The accreditation enables a simplified project application procedure, as well as institutional funding for the Centre’s work in accordance with the adopted action plan.
With this accreditation, the University of Rijeka stands out as the only Croatian university to hold this quality label in the field of youth and is ranked among a small number of European universities that possess an Erasmus+ accreditation in this area.
