From May 10 to 14, a partner meeting was held in Rijeka as part of the PD4D – Professional Development of Youth Workers project. The University of Rijeka is participating in the project as a partner through the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies, which leads the activities on behalf of the University. The lead partner is Tallinn University, while the other partners are Maynooth University (Ireland), Victoria University (Australia), and the Youth Work Union (North Macedonia).

The meeting in Rijeka served to evaluate the work completed so far on the project and to present the results of the activities carried out by the University of Rijeka. These activities include the analysis of mapped case studies from five countries, the development of guidelines for conducting participatory research aimed at community engagement, and the organization of national workshops intended for youth work professionals.

During their stay, the partners also visited Association Delta as an example of good practice in local youth work and became thoroughly acquainted with its activities. In addition, the participants took part in Forum Theatre activities at the Rijeka City Library, organized by Association Delta, thereby gaining direct experience with local community activities.

The project began in September 2024 and will continue until February 2027. It is funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme.
