Co-organized by the British Council and the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies at the University of Rijeka, an international conference titled “Beyond Commemoration: Building the Future of Inclusive Memorialization in the Western Balkans” was held in Rijeka on March 19 and 20.
Around 70 participants from across the region took part in the conference. Representing the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies was Dr. Valentina Otmačić, Deputy Head of the Center.
