From January 29 to February 1, the first block of lectures was held in Rijeka as part of the implementation of the microcredential program “Public Policy Analysis,” marking the start of the program at the University of Rijeka.

This is the first academic program fully focused on public policy, delivered by the Center for Peace and Conflict Studies.

During the five-month implementation period, program participants will have the opportunity to attend mandatory and selected elective courses taught by recognized experts from universities in Croatia and abroad, delivered through a combination of in-person and online instruction. The central component of the program is a challenge in which participants will analyze a specific public policy and propose three solutions to improve it.

This is the first year of the program’s implementation, bringing together 14 participants from the civil and public sectors whose goal is to deepen and structure their knowledge of public policy.

The presentation of participants’ work and the awarding of certificates of completion will take place during the final meeting, scheduled for June this year.
