The final conference of the fourth edition of the largest European project in the field of youth work, Europe Goes Local (EGL) “Looking back, moving forward” was held in Zagreb on 1 April, organised by the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes. Representatives of cities spoke about the importance of this project for improving the lives of young people in local communities, presenting their own experiences of the positive effects of involving young people in decision-making processes.
Representatives of the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies, University of Rijeka participated in the conference. Dr. Marko Kovačić, Assoc. Prof., participated in the international panel discussion “Croatia in the context of the Europe Goes Local project”, and dr. Mario Žuliček presented the brochure “Youth in focus: projects and EU funding opportunities for local self-government”, which he produced for the Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes.
